Gypsy
Not only is Gypsy receiving a star-studded revival, but filling the role of musical theater’s most famous stage mother is none other than Audra McDonald. The winner of more competitive Tony Awards than any other performer in history, we can’t think of a better fit than Audra McDonald for the storied role of Rose.
First staged in 1959, Gypsy is based on the memoir of Gypsy Rose Lee—a dancer reflecting on the relationship she had with her mother. We can’t wait to see how Audra McDonald brings this “deeply flawed and brilliantly alive character” to life, this year, at the newly-renovated Majestic Theater.

Oh, Mary!
The dark comedy, instant hit production Oh, Mary! has now been extended through September 28, 2025. Written by and starring Cole Escola as a miserably oppressed Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to her husband’s assassination, this new play has brought deep irreverent joy to Broadway this year.
