Seat Numbers

Fenway Park follows the standard venue seat number logic, in that seat number 1 will always be closest to the lower number section adjacent to it. For example, seat number 1 in Grandstand 8 will be closest to the highest seat number in Grandstand 7, and the highest seat number in Grandstand 8 will be adjacent to seat number 1 in Grandstand 9.

Obstructed Seats

Fenway Park is the oldest stadium in the Majors, and because of that there are several seats that will be marked obstructed view. These seats are positioned behind pillars that hold up the upper level sections, and will be marked obstructed view in the ticket listing. We do not advise purchasing these type of tickets, as you truly cannot see anything in the majority of these seats.

Seats in Shade

If you are looking to catch a Red Sox game and avoid the sun, the Grandstand sections are a great option. Grandstand Seating wraps around the majority of Fenway, and includes sections 1-33 above the Loge Sections. These seats will protect you from the sun and keep you dry in the rain.

Green Monster Tickets

Tickets atop the Green Monster at Fenway Park are among the most unique seats for any sporting event. Marked by sections M1-M10, these are some of the most coveted seats at Fenway. There is nothing like watching a home run come at and then over you while atop the Green Monster.

Field Dimensions

Fenway Park has the following dimensions (all measurements from home plate): 310ft to Left-Field (the Green Monster), 379ft to deep Left-Center, 389ft to Center, 420ft to deep Right-Center, 302 to Right-Field. It is 60ft from home plate to the backstop.

Field and Loge Level

Field box seats at Fenway Park include sections 9-16, 71-82, and odd numbered sections from 17-69. The Field level also includes sections 60, 44, and 30. Field Level seats are the closest seats to the field (duh) but they do not offer any other amenities. The Loge Level is located directly behind the Field Level, and includes sections 98-165.

Club Seats

The Boston Red Sox and Fenway Park offer a few premium seating options. The EMC Club tickets are located behind home plate above the Grandstand, and the EMC Club itself is on the lower level behind home plate. The EMC club includes a fine dining experience with three full service bars. The State Street Pavilion Club Seats are positioned above the EMC Club seats, and wrap around the infield. They include wait service, as well as access to dining option not available to standard ticket holders.

Best Seats

The atmosphere at Fenway Park is unlike any in baseball, and most fans Sox fans are happy with any seat. That being said, the best seats for a Boston Red Sox game are Field Level behind home plate one of the dugouts. If you can score seats on the Green Monster you shouldn't pass that up, and seats in the Loge sections along the baselines are a fine options as well. Finally, if you are looking to get rowdy at a Red Sox game, the Bleachers at Fenway Park at the best place for you.

Dugouts and Bullpens

The Boston Red Sox Dugout is located in front of section 21-28 and the visitors dugout is located in front of sections 62-69. The Red Sox bullpen is located in front of sections 40-41, and the visitors bullpen is located in front of sections 42 and 43.
