Jones Beach Overview

The venue is on the smaller side, which means every seat in the house is solid. Not to mention, the views of Jones Beach State Park, Zach's Bay, and Long Island in general are fantastic from up in the top tiers. Don't forget though, this is an outdoor venue and on a windy day the sound quality can be slightly muddled in the mezzanine sections and if you are too close to the water you can get wet (when on the left hand side when facing the stage).

Mezzanine - The Not so Cheap Seats

The sections in the Stadium Level follow a much more conventional pattern. When looking towards the stage, the seats on the farthest righthand side are always labeled one. Each row in the Stadium Level contains anywhere between 13 and 18 seats. Sections 7R, 8R, 9L, or 10L will give you the best viewing experience.

Nikon at Jones Beach Theater VIP or Premium Seating

There is a lot offered when it comes to VIP or premium seating at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater. Some amenities include a private VIP entrance with early entry, VIP parking closest to the venue, access to an exclusive VIP club with private restrooms, and in-seat food and beverage service available in boxes and suites. Premium seating is located in sections A,B,C,E,F, and H. VIP has its own seating area between sections A-D and E-H.

Jones Beach Seat Numbers

Sections B,C,D,E,G, and H all have seat 1 located on the side of the section closest to the center of the venue. Section A is in the center of the venue, but follows the same rules as sections B,D,H and F. So, the best seats in the stadium would be middle seats in A (each row in Section A has between 16 and 26 Seats, these are the best seats). In order to make sure you are as close to the center as possible, your next best bet would be to get tickets as close to seat number 1 in each of the other 8 orchestra sections. Try to avoid the higher numbers, especially in Sections C and D because views can become extreme from these angles.
